exljbris Font Foundry.
exljbris Font Foundry is an independent, one-man type design foundry best known for best-selling typefaces such as Museo and Calluna. Based in the Netherlands, designer Jos Buivenga began designing fonts as a hobby, giving them away for free to his online followers. With the launch of his first paid font Museo, the foundry took off. Now, its collection of striking, versatile fonts can be seen in branding across many industries, including manufacturing, consumer technology products, food and beverage, and many more.
Museo

Museo is a spirited semi-serif typeface with lucid, open forms and highly original details, especially the pipe-like, bent half-serifs. Museo works well for modern magazine and poster headlines, and is effective in medium-sized texts. Museo also now offers an italic weight. Besides ligatures, contextual alternatives, stylistic alternates, fractions and proportional/tabular figures, Museo has a ‘case’ feature for case-sensitive forms.
Calluna

Calluna, a versatile text typeface with display qualities, was the foundry’s first full-fledged roman for both text and display, grew out of the Museo design process. While trying out various serif shapes to create a hypothetical Museo Slab Serif, Buivenga discovered a nice way of giving his serifs a forward direction. The principle became the starting point of a totally new typeface — a robust, clean and contemporary face with interesting details and a forward flow. Calluna makes for comfortable reading even at very small text sizes; its striking details ensure that it can also be used as a display font with personality.
Museo Sans

Museo Sans is based on the well-known Museo. It is a sturdy, low contrast, geometric, highly legible sans serif typeface very well suited for any display and text use. The Sans family does not have Museo’s most striking characteristics — the unusual shapes and placement of the asymmetric serifs, but it has remarkable clarity and legibility. Its detailing is original and its wide range of numerals is both attractive and practical.
Geotica

![Geotica Geotica](/sites/default/files/styles/width_810/public/2021-11/Geotica_1_168_124.png?itok=TO2ySVUY)
Geotica was created to build a font out of -more or less- simple geometrical line elements. The open wire frame could then be left open or (partially) filled. Geotica comes in four different grades or line thicknesses (One, Two, Three and Four), making it suitable for broad use. Each grade has four styles and is loaded with swashes, final forms, lots of ligatures and ornaments.
Museo Slab

![Museo Slab Museo Slab](/sites/default/files/styles/width_810/public/2021-11/MuseoSlab_2_127_122.png?itok=WouThfjC)
Museo Slab is a robust slab serif with Museo’s friendliness. It is a perfect match for Museo Sans. The sturdy slab serifs combine perfectly with the Museo family’s friendly geometry, resulting in a wonderfully readable typeface.
Tenso
![Tenso Tenso](/sites/default/files/styles/width_810/public/2021-11/Tenso_Image1_152_128.png?itok=hPe-P5f3)

![Tenso Tenso](/sites/default/files/styles/width_810/public/2021-11/Tenso4_144_191.png?itok=wg-ZxqzS)
Tenso is an economic running sans serif with a lot of character. It carries some hints of grotesque such as a one-story lowercase g and closed, angled strokes on C, G and S. On the other hand, it has a higher than normal stroke contrast and also a real italic (not only sloped). This balanced mix makes it a playful grotesk sans suitable for all types of publications, apps, and websites.
Fertigo Pro

![Fertigo Pro Fertigo Pro](/sites/default/files/styles/width_810/public/2021-11/FertigoProScript_1_103_189.png?itok=D-gupgcg)
The calligraphic roman Fertigo Pro has been one of exljbris’s most popular fonts for years. It has the flow and humanist touch of italic handwriting, and the roundness and regularity of a roman book face. It’s a bit like Laphroaig; they say that the more you’ll get to know it, the more you will appreciate it. Exljbris also offers a script version, Fertigo Pro Script. Fine connected type with a lyrical calligraphic touch. This connected script is charming yet vigorous, and great for packaging or branding.

![Antona Antona](/sites/default/files/styles/width_810/public/2021-11/Antona3_194_197.png?itok=IFD_3-bW)
Antona is a modern, friendly, geometric sans serif. This basic geometric font family has 16 styles with 384 glyphs each. Its appearance is rather neutral, with vertical stroke endings and fairly large apertures that create an open, friendly character. Antona comes with very nice spacing and well-adjusted obliques—easy on the eyes in display sizes and in body copy.
